I was extremely proud of the Commodore mini-chorus performance at St. Joseph Church this past Sunday. So many parishioners were extremely complimentary about what they heard. Our Director of Worship and Music, Jerry Salitros, was particularly impressed with the "richness and fullness" of our sound. I want to thank each of the 24 Commodores who gave up part of their Saturday to make the service. Thanks, Doc *** From Mark: 2010 Officers and Board Members The Nominating Committee, made up of past chapter presidents, has developed a list of nominees for the 2010 Minneapolis Commodores Officers and Board Member positions. Per chapter by-laws, the list of nominees will be read out during the business meeting on the following Tuesdays - September 22, September 29, and October 6. Any Commodore is entitled to present another name for nomination to the committee, for any position, providing that nominee has already been contacted and agreed to have their name placed in nomination. The deadline for additional nominations is Tuesday, September 29. October 6 is the date for the Annual Chapter Meeting. At this meeting the members who are in attendance will vote for the 2010 Officers and Board. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me.
