The SWIPE MINNEAPOLIS COMMODORES www.minneapoliscommodores.org July 7, 2009 From Paul: Hi guys! Whew! It feels good (well, at least better….) to be back home. See you then! Paul *** From Doc: I have decided to publish a July/August issue of the Chord-Inator in order to give my reporters more time to organize their material and get it to me. Therefore the deadline has been extended to Thursday, July 23. This gives you 16 days to overwhelm your editor with glorious prose and extraordinary photos. Perhaps if you all make an extra effort for at least two consecutive issues we can get the 2008 International Bulletin Contest's fourth-place bulletin (The CHORD-INATOR) into the top three in 2010. It really is up to you! Thanks, Doc *** Attendance: June 23 - 74 members Dates to Remember: • Tuesday, July 14, Como Park Performance, St Paul , MN • Thursday, August 13, Chanhassen Performance, 7 PM • Wednesday, August 19, Victoria Performance, 7 PM • Friday through Sunday, October 23-25, LOL Fall Convention, Rochester, MN Board Meetings: Wooddale Lutheran Church – 7 PM • July 16 • August 20 • September 17 Mike Hojan, The SWIPE Editor Lakeville, MN
