Where: Ted Mann Theatre Plaza (outside next to theatre) - if weather prohibits this will be moved to the lobby. What: Afterglow/Cast Party for concert participants and close family and friends. The event is NOT being promoted to the public to keep it at a From Wally Brink (Continued): simple and manageable size. Close friends and family are welcome. Pizza and beverages will be available. Beverage options will be an assortment of sodas and beers. The event is very low key and we will not formally schedule any quartets but any quartets that would like to sing are more than welcome. Cost: $10 per person. This will cover a couple slices of pizza and a couple of beers. To abide by U of M policy we'll have to collect money before hand (we cannot collect money at the event per U of M policy). I will see if Peter can be in charge for the Commodores and I'll take care of the GNU side. If members want to attend and NOT drink or eat they do not have to pay. We'll keep it an on your honor system. We will also have to collect for any guests that want to attend (and that will drink/eat). I know that may be a difficult feat so we'll plan on overages and can collect on Sunday for any last minute additions. Wally *** From Gary: I am honored and humbled at my selection as 2009 BOTY. Thank you all for this honor. I have sent Doc. Hardin a more detailed response for the Chordinator. It is my pleasure to be a part of this Chapter and to be able to join in song with so many talented men. It's great to be a Commodore. Thanks again. Gary Jacobson *** From John Hansen John & Caryl Hansen is celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and John's 80th birthday on Saturday, June 27, from 1-5PM at their home - 16200 Hilltop Rd, Eden Prairie. John Hansen *** From Mark: Anaheim Trip: 1) Please see me tonight if you do not yet have your Registration Tickets and/or current Barbershop Harmony Society membership dues. I will be submitting our final Competitor Listing to the society this Friday. If you do not have both of these in hand (or in process) society rules dictate that you will not be eligible to sing. We currently have 69 guys signed up and want to make sure that every one of those is on stage with us. 2) I have an order form for chorus photos. If you are interested in a picture you need to sign up and provide payment (cash or check) before we have our picture taken. This is the only way you can guarantee that you will have a picture since they may not be available for purchase after the convention. 3) I've attached a copy of our tentative chorus schedule. If you have any questions about arrangements, shuttles, schedules, etc. please see me. Thanks.
