You aren’t allowed to stand next to anyone singing your part. Good luck!! Paul *** From Mark Ortenburger: Commodores to Sing 17th at Anaheim The Commodores received a waiver approval from the Contest and Judging Committee to swap places with Greendale for the International Convention in Anaheim. Greendale will sing in the 13th position and the Commodores will sing second (17th overall) in the evening session. This will allow several of our dual chorus members to join us on-stage which would not have been possible given the original schedule that had us singing in front of GNU. Tuesday Night Schedule - Business Meeting One of the things that came out of our survey last year was a concern that we didn't have enough time for our break as well as time for other activities. We started last week incorporating time for sectionals, which should greatly help our section unity, and Gary Jacobson has pulled together a great quartet program. Starting tonight we are going to try and create more time by greatly shortening our business meeting. Any of the items that would normally be covered during the business meeting should be included in The SWIPE. Bob Ostergaard will still cover membership renewals and Dan Slattery will introduce guests but that will be it for the business side. If you have something that has to be covered in front of the chorus please see Paul Dahlen. This will mean it's even more important for everyone to read The SWIPE. Mike Hojan is going to get The SWIPE on-line every Tuesday morning so most of you can read it before you come to the Chapter Meeting. *** From Doc: We are in need of one or more percussionists for the annual show. Let me know if you can help. Chord-Inator deadline is fast approaching - January 28. Don't be delinquent.
