(By the way…now is still a great time to bring guests! We’ve lost some great guys the past few months…let’s keep working to spread the joy that the Commodores can bring!) (On another note- Mason City just contacted me about a joint coaching session in August. They mentioned coming up here this time. Music committee and board…what do you think?) *** From Mark Ortenburger: Anaheim Group Registration Tonight is the deadline for getting your money turned in for the Anaheim Group Registration that the Commodores will be submitting for group seating. After this any individual registrations should be handled directly through the society in Nashville. Within a few weeks I'll be getting some additional information out to you on travel considerations to and from Anaheim and our next deadline - hotel registration - that is coming up in March. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Mark Ortenburger *** From Doc: Another week has whizzed by. How do you stand with the show repertoire? Let me challenge you. How about Whatever Happened to the Old Songs and Mary Lou is off the paper by next Tuesday. Beach Boys is off the paper by the week after that and Minstrel Montage in three weeks. Of course, you will be polishing the rest of the show songs at the same time. Also, the intro and tag of Meet Me in Rose Time, Rosie will be introduced. When the going gets tough, the tough get going! I need some assistance with a Power Point program for the show. If any of you can help me I will be very appreciative. Power Point is fool-proof, not idiot-proof, so therein lies my problem. Chord-Inator deadline is January 28.
