Singing a cappella harmony in 4-part barbershop style is our hobby and we really enjoy doing it. We're always looking for men who love to sing. We invite you to join us at a rehearsal to see what it's all about. The Minneapolis Commodore Chorus chartered with the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America (S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.) in 1944 and continues that association with the current Barbershop Harmony Society. Our BHS District is Land O' Lakes. FIFTEEN TIME...Land O' Lakes District Champions FIVE TIME International Competition Medalists A big, full quality sound combined with colorful costumes and entertaining stage play make any Commodore production a truly memorable experience.

We Sing, but We also Serve!
Being congenial men of good character who love harmony in music, we do much more than just entertain . . . We also contribute to our international Harmony Foundation. This foundation supports vocal music programs in schools and communities all over the country. The Harmony Foundation is the official charity of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Primary and secondary schools throughout America, due to severe budget cuts, are losing their music programs along with many other extra-curricular activities; a tragic loss for our children and grandchildren that the Foundation is toiling to ease.
