Singing a cappella harmony in 4-part barbershop style is our hobby and we really enjoy doing it. We're always looking for men
who love to sing. We invite you to join us at a rehearsal to see what it's all about. The Minneapolis Commodore Chorus chartered with the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America (S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.) in 1944 and continues that association with the current Barbershop Harmony Society. Our BHS District is Land O' Lakes.

| We Sing, but We also Serve! |
![]() Being congenial
men of good character who love harmony in music, we do much more than just entertain . . . We use our singing to help those less fortunate. Over forty years ago we established the Special Heart Research Equipment Fund on the Campus of the University of Minnesota. With funds generated from our annual show we have donated over $355,000. We also contribute to our international Harmony Foundation. This foundation supports vocal music programs in schools and colleges all over the country. |
